Public Access To The Permanent Exhibition Gallery Currently Restricted

The Department of National Museum and Monuments wishes to inform the public that, due to construction work geared towards the refurbishment of the permanent exhibition gallery, public access to the gallery will be restricted. As a result, the public will no longer have access to the customer parking area, cafeteria, Daimler showroom, Little Theatre, Kgotla, outdoor shelters. Furthermore, guided tours shall be suspended until the project ends. The project is expected to take a period of 12 months. However, members of the public are notified that front desk officers will be available to assist walk in clients and direct them accordingly. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
