Minister Of Youth, Sports And Culture Wins An African Achievers Award
The Minister of Youth, Sport and Culture Mr Thapelo Olopeng has been awarded the African Achievers Award in the category of Youth Empowerment and Social Development. His hard work and dedication to the youth has not gone unnoticed, as the lively Minister scooped one in the bag for the team.
“Bagaetsho, I managed to receive an award under the category of Youth Empowerment and social upliftment. Let me thank all of you for your unwavering support. Special thanks to my intercessors.
I dedicate this award to the youth of Botswana. Le ka moso,” he said.
The minister thanked Batswana for their support through which he captured the eye of the international community. He said he would continue to interact with them on his Facebook page. The 8th African Achievers Awards were held in Abuja, Nigeria on July 8 2016 and other winners included representatives of South Africa, Gambia, Zambia and Kenya.
