Minister Kwape meets with new envoy from Algeria

The Ambassador-Designate of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, Mr. Mourad Adjabi, presented copies of his Letters of Credence to Dr. Lemogang Kwape, Minister of Foreign Affairs, on 13th July 2022. When welcoming the Ambassador-Designate, the Minister congratulated him on his appointment and wished him a successful tenure, as well as, assured him of his full support.
Among others, the Ambassador-Designate noted with appreciation the cordial relations that exist between Botswana and Algeria. The Honourable Minister and the Ambassador-Designate, also underscored that they looked forward to enhanced cooperation between the two countries such as in areas of agriculture, energy and tourism.
