Message of condolences on the passing on of Ms. Jacqueline Tebogo Khama

We received the news of the passing on of Ms. Jacqueline Khama with shock and sadness. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Khama family as you deal with your loss and with the absence of your beloved sister, mother, relative and friend.
Ms. Jacqueline Khama has had a long and devoted service to our country, particularly looking at the years that she spent at the University of Botswana, in service. For that, she deserves commendation for her modest and gallant contribution.
It is hard to know what to say in a situation like this, because there are never enough words that can fully capture the depth of what we’re feeling. However, the thoughts of comfort and the love that you are receiving from others will help to ease the sorrowful time.
As Robert Louis Stevenson said: “Like a bird singing in the rain, let grateful memories survive in time of sorrow.”
