Megan Thee Stallion Delivers New “BOA” Single Ahead Of Upcoming Arena Tour

Today, three-time, Grammy award-winning superstar, entrepreneur and philanthropist Megan Thee Stallion delivered her brand new single “BOA,” which you can stream HERE via Hot Girl Productions.

The new single showcases Megan’s fiery bars over LilJuMadeDaBeat’s beat that samples Gwen Stefani’s classic “What You Waiting For?” from 2004. “BOA” also includes a memorable hook that has the Houston native rapping “Doing shit for TikTok, bitch I’m really hip hop, they all know my shit hot, ain’t listen when yo shit drop, all my diamonds dancing I ain’t need to make no TikTok.”

“BOA” serves as the latest installment of Megan’s serpent-themed songs, following recent releases such as “HISS” in January 2024 and “Cobra” in Nov. 2023. The former debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and also became the first-ever, solo female rap song to debut No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200.

Megan kickstarted the music-filled week by bringing back #MeganMonday with the surprise release of her “I Think I love Her Freestyle” on her social media. In the freestyle, the Houston native rapped over the instrumental of Gucci Mane’s iconic song.

Most recently, Megan graced the cover of Women’s Health, where she explained her decision to select the snake motif as part of her rebirth and shared her perspective on how snakes are “feared, misunderstood, respected, healing.”

The new song comes as Megan prepares to kick off the “Hot Girl Summer” Tour – her first-ever headlining arena tour along with special guest GloRilla. The domestic leg of the tour kicks off on May 14 in Minneapolis and wraps in San Francisco on June 23 before she travels to Europe.

Megan and GloRilla recently showcased their collective knack for collaborations when they teamed up to release “Wanna Be.” The song debuted at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 in April and led to the creation of the viral “Wanna Be” challenge that took over social media.

Last month, Megan was also honored at Planned Parenthood’s annual gala, where she was presented with the Catalyst of Change Award. The multihyphenate also appeared on the cover of AdWeek and spoke about bridging the intersection of music and business at AdWeek’s Social Media Week conference as the keynote speaker.
