In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. There have been over 3000 TEDx events to date. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.

Lerato Motshwarakgole

Lerato Motshwarakgole is a Motswana actress best known for her starring role as Mapule Nkosi in the second segment (“Something’s Cooking”) of the e.tv anthology series Mzansi Love: Kasi Style, in 2012.
She also acted in South Afrcan soapie Generations. She is also a cultural activist. She will be the MC.

Tendekayi Katsiga

Tendekayi Katsiga is an innovator and the Director of Operations (Deaftronics in partnership with Solar Ear). Solar Ear developed the first rechargeable hearing aid battery, which lasts for 2-3 years and can be used in 80% of hearing aids on the market today.

Kali Ilunga

Kali Ilunga is an international speaker and entrepreneur obsessed with creating ideas that positively disrupt industries. He is currently the founder and CEO of SeeSayDo, a New York Based Tech company using mobile phones to disrupt the advertising industry in Emerging Markets. He also founded Spoken Ink; a company voted in South Africa’s fast growth 100 companies.

TJ Dema

TJ Dema is a veteran spoken word poet from Botswana who has been performing for over a decade. She has been performing for over a decade, gracing stages from her home in Botswana to India, Zimbabwe, South Africa, and France with her words and voice.

Stuart White

Stuart White is the managing director at HRMC Management Consultants. He is an HR specialist with 25 years recruitment experience.Stuart is the founder of HRMC Management Consultants, and HRMC Talent.

Lillian Nkosazana Moremi

Growing up in the village Mogoditshane, she is showing up to be one of the generous young women that Botswana has. Lillian, a soccial entrepreneur is currently a coordinator for an Australian company in Botswana, Ducere Foundation.
