The Otse born songbird has nine traditional albums, four afro pop albums, one house album and one gospel album. She is one of the first people to make what is deemed as contemporary traditional music look cool and one of the first local females to own their own record label and do her music. She founded a group, Digauta which sang mostly pop music. Through her sultry voice, she has always managed to win many hearts through song. She has won the Thari ya Sechaba award and has under her belt a Kora nomination.
Her first experiences with the South African music industry in 2004 was controversy riddled as she was implicated in a music scam, after reportedly having been paid to record the late Brenda Fassie’s gospel album by then producer Chicco. The move could have easily crippled her singing career, as a young artist then.
