Masa square hotel launches fashion show

Masa Square hotel over the weekend launched its fashion show. The fashion show is in its fifth year and has been growing ever since then. The fashion show comes with many other various mentorship programs and according to leaders in the fashion show, the mentorship programme is meant to develop young and upcoming designers. The young designers are said to be encouraged to mesh the Tswana traditional couture with what the modern world expects of them today.

Among other beneficiaries of the mentorship programmes is Tankiso Mathware who specializes in clothes made from African prints. Professional Botswana designers are expected to take the hands of those who are new in the industry and run away with them for guidance and offering support. Renowned clothing store Woolworths has partnered with Masa to deliver on the project.
