The Mpumalanga Black Aces took on Golden Arrows at Mbombela Stadium Nelspruit in a Absa Premiership match.

In his final Interview with as Township Rollers outgoing head coach Mark Harrison expressed that Township Rollers is the most efficiently run African football team he has ever worked for, and that the club has potential to become even better.

Having coached big teams in more advanced leagues such as, Mpumalanga Black Aces, Chippa United, and Golden Arrows in the South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) as well as CAPS United in Zimbabwe, British born Mark said Rollers is at a top level administratively.

“In terms of how the club is administered this is the best African club I’ve worked for. If the club and its president Jagdish Shah were to be given an opportunity to run things without obstacles, and other clubs benchmark, Botswana football as a whole would benefit. It is not just about having finances, but doing things right, in a professional manner,” Harrison said.

Harrison has accepted an offer to become the technical director of South African PSL side Baroka FC and feels that the timing was right for him. In closing Harrison said. “I would like to thank everyone associated with Rollers, the other members of the technical team, management, the players and supporters for allowing me to execute my duties well. Rollers is a great club with room to develop into an even bigger brand.”
