Karate bids to host

One of the most performing sporting codes in the country Karate is on its way to bringing nations into the landlocked country of Botswana. They are working aorund the clock to bring a successful staging of the international event. Karate local national team this past weekend did wonders when they got placed third at the African Karate championships that were taking place in Kigali,Rwanda. The male team garnered themselves a vronze medal while in the endividuals category Ofentse Bakwadi got himself a silver medal in a category that he was defending.

Next year African countries will be here in Botswana for the same event that tge local team was participating in. Atbthe same event, BOKA president Tshepho Bathai was awarded the bidding titpe on behalf of the nation as well as the karate fraternity in Botswana.
