VACANCY – ASSISTANT COURT BAILLIFS x 14 Positions
Post Title : Assistant Court Bailiffs

Salary Scale: B1 P55, 272 – P66, 036 per annum
Leave: 20 working days per annum
Benefits: i) Optional Contributory Medical Aid Scheme (Government pay 50% and employee pay 50%)
ii) Contributory Pension Scheme (Government pays 15% and employee pay 5%).
Qualifications: Certificate in Law, Human Resource Management, Public Administration or any related field.
Main purpose of the job: To implement court orders in accordance with Rules and Provisions of the Customary Court and the Bogosi Act.
Duties
a) Facilitates removal of attached property from place of attachment to official storage facility.
b) Traces customary court fines defaulters.
c) Controls crowds during Kgotla meetings.
d) Administers corporal punishment on convicted persons.
e) Ensures safety of presiding officers during trial.
