Job Description
This role is responsible for the management of debtor’s accounts, ensuring
prompt collection of outstanding loans and reconciliation of the accounts. It also manages branches’ workflow within specified contract times and adheres to micro-lending policies and procedures.
JOB FUNCTIONS
• Manages a portfolio of accounts in arrears in line with agreed targets.
• Ensure that payments are made within the specified contract duration and make follow ups of outstanding loans.
• Ensure that commissions are adjusted (where necessary) and paid on time.
• Resolve customer queries escalated.
• Management reports are prepared and submitted timeously.
• Reports are analyzed to determine areas with problems and necessary action taken.
• Continuous improvement through action and innovation
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications and Experience
• Diploma or studying towards a relevant degree
• Must have knowledge in all MS office packages
• Experience in credit control will be an added advantage
KNOWLEDGE
• Financial and Business acumen
• Good people management knowledge
• Sound knowledge of accounting practices
Technical Skills
• Ability to delegate effectively
• Strong organizational skills
• Exercise control
• Sound reconciliation skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to prioritize effectively
2. ADMIN ASSISTANT
JOB DESCRIPTION
To answer and redirect calls to the relevant people, welcome clients and direct them accordingly to the relevant office and or person. Also perform administrative work for management and assist with HR duties as prescribed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Greets clients and ascertains nature of visit
• Informs the requested contact person of client’s visit and directs caller to the specific location.
• Provides appropriate responses to client’s enquiries
• Operates and answers the switchboard
• Screens incoming calls and when appropriate answers routine queries and or refers call to an alternative source.
• Takes messages as required.
• Prepare and manages employees’ files as instructed by management
• Ensure leave forms are signed and filed to update the leave balance for review by the Finance Officer.
• Composes and types letters and minutes as directed by management.
REQUIREMENTS
• A Certificate in Secretarial Studies or equivalent
• Experience working with a switchboard would be an added advantage
