IED Has Vacancies! : (Receptionist, Office Cleaner, Business Coach x3, Career Coach x3, Resource Centre Coordinator )
IED has partnered with First National Bank Botswana Foundation (FNB Foundation) to empower rural youth in Molepolole and surrounding villages. We are looking for talented staff to fill the below listed vacancies:
CORE STAFF
1. Business Coach X3
The Business Coach provides high quality training and coaching to programme participants, equipping them with necessary skills and knowledge to start and run a business.
Responsibilities:
• Provide training and direct one-on-one coaching and technical assistance to programme beneficiaries
• Developing business, marketing and financial plans and assist programme beneficiaries access funding for their projects
• Providing resources and information on how to start and grow businesses
• Assisting programme beneficiaries in the creation of marketing materials, record keeping systems and other tools necessary to start and run a small business.
• Help assess, organize and coordinate resources to programme beneficiaries
Qualifications:
• Minimum Diploma in Business related field
• 3 years working experience in a similar role. Experience working with YDF Proposals is a MUST
• BQA Accreditation
2. Career Coach X3
The Career Coach provides high quality training and coaching to programme participants, equipping them with necessary work readiness skills.
Responsibilities:
• Provide training and direct one-on-one coaching and technical assistance to programme beneficiaries
• Meet individually with programme participants to determine skill level, industry experience, and education/training needs;
• Guide programme participants through assessments and create an individualized career plan
• Assist with developing resumes and cover letters, identify opportunities for employment and assist with the application and interview process;
• Interface with employers and gather feedback to aid in maintaining successful employment;
• Maintain relationships with staffing agencies to aid in matching participants with labour force needs;
Qualifications:
• Minimum Diploma in Human Resource or related field
• 3 years working experience in a similar role.
• BQA Accreditation
SUPPORT STAFF
3. Receptionist
The Receptionist serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately as well as providing administrative support to staff and programme beneficiaries.
Qualifications:
• Minimum Diploma in Secretarial Services, Human Resource Management or related field
• 3 years working experience in a similar role
4. Resource Centre Coordinator
The Resource Centre Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating a variety of information management activities and tasks including records, information technology services to programme beneficiaries as required.
Qualifications:
• Minimum Diploma in any relevant field
• 3 years working experience in a resource centre / library environment
5. Office Cleaner
The Office Cleaner ensures the Center is kept in a clean and orderly condition at all times.
Qualifications:
• Minimum BGCSE
• Up to 2 years working experience in a similar role
NB: For positions 3-5, preference will be given to youth (below 35 years) in Molepolole and surrounding villages.
