GU does for charity, dust itself off the controversy dirt

Gaborone United Sporting club which has been surrounded by a series of daunts seems to have put its feet down. The team scooped the just ended BTC charity cup over the weekend after they won against Township Rollers in the penalties. The Gaborone United came into the match a united front. They dismissed the mma Masire side after a 5-4 penalty shoot-out.

Many have since attached the team weekend victory to a start of the good season ahead. The BTC Charity cup was played by the once most popular top teams in the country namely Mochudi Centre Chiefs, Extension gunners, Township Rollers and Gaborone United. Word has it that the charity has replaced the popular BTC premiership awards that did no stage this season.
