GCC DISINFECT PUBLIC AREAS

Dumelang Batswana betsho, bogolo jang banni ba Gaborone. I Just thought I should update you as we are all under Lockdown. Please stay home and stay safe.

We started disinfecting public areas from Thursday. We plan to do so at least twice or thrice during the lockdown period, budget permitting. We hope to do it at intervals of two weeks during the lockdown period. You will appreciate that there will be less movement of people during this period. We have started on maintenance of some schools to install washing basins and to also provide sanitizers and soaps so that by the time schools reopen they find all these in place and available.
Our environmental team is hard at work at the different designated quarantine areas collecting clinical waste and disinfecting the areas. A lot more work is still to be done.

Let me also thanks those who have heeded the call to stay home, re a leboga. Together we can defeat this Virus and we will come out a stronger Nation…
