Former President Ian Khama – “Masisi vowed he wanted to demonstrate that he could arrest and detain the sons of Sir Seretse Khama “

SKI Khama – “Masisi vowed he wanted to demonstrate that he could arrest and detain the sons of Sir Seretse Khama “ according to a press release he posted across his social media platforms which reads;

“This was now the third day of my brothers illegal detention in a DIS facility and they have just been released. The first night they spent in a specifically chosen, worst condition, police cell available. The same for the second night. TK’s wife, Thea has been kept in illegal detention without being questioned and denied medication at some point or having access to lawyers as with my brothers.Yesterday the DIS tried as usual to engage in their speciality of fabrication by putting out a statement of lies that they had granted the lawyers access. The truth is, they gave him 5 minutes to just greet his clients and leave after keeping him waiting at the gate for over an hour.

Please confirm this with Mr Tebogo Tladi of Ramalepa Attorneys. They refused to allow the lawyers to consult my brothers in private which is illegal. They also refused for them to be present during questioning which is also illegal. When the lawyers pointed out the detention was illegal as the DIS has no authority to keep people in detention, they responded by saying they would keep them even longer. They promised to release them last night at 7pm but did not do so. It is also confirmed that Masisi vowed he wanted to demonstrate that he could arrest and detain the sons of Sir Seretse Khama whilst promising immunity from prosecution of security agencies who are in contravention of the law as they carry out his vindictive agendas.

Their warped minds had targeted me but as I was not available for them to carry out their criminal intentions they opted for my brothers and TK’s wife because she occasionally on Facebook is a critic of their failed wildlife policies amongst a long and growing list of other failings. In the last day I have lined up coming interviews with media to expose Botswanas slide into the dark abyss under Masisi.Due to the illegal nature of the aforementioned, the collapse of the rule of law on specific instructions, the process of suing is now being undertaken. I wish to take this opportunity to thank those that attended the Kgotla meeting held in Serowe yesterday and the forthright statements of condemnation by the many people who attended. The delegation that was set up to approach Masisi has been disrespected and ignored. That is to be expected with a regime that has no regard for people, democracy and stability.
