Fish Pabalinga’s GIMC Event Inspires A Ugandan Comedian
The brain child of Fish Pabalinga, Gaborone International Music Week is by far one of the best events that grace this country annually. Not only is is appreciated by locals here, it has stamped itself into the hearts of other African nationals. An Ugandan comedian who took part in GIMC 2016, has done more than participate, he got inspired to carry the culture to Uganda.
“More often than not Batswana see themselves as unable or too small to influence the global stage. Am humbled to receive a call from Salvado, who was the main act at GIMC 2016 comedy that he got inspired by GIMC so much he went back to Uganda and established the same,” Fish said.
Because of this level of positive outcome, Fish has now found it easy to place Botswana artists in these other events and hope our artists will also grow to become African superstars. This amazing soul has also been invited to Uganda to attend as their guest from 29 Oct until 4 Nov 2017. Big up Fish, continue inspiring and building dreams in Africa and beyond.
