DJ Sid Shows His Emotional Side
Sidney Baitsile, otherwise known as DJ Sid is the number 1 pioneer of local music. This former My Star talent show judge is not shy to voice his great supporter for local music. The Government has now come up with an idea for state radio stations to play local songs for the whole of September, and this move has really touched Sid who was not shy to share his emotions.
He speaks without fear about how local radio stations sideline local content and give air play to international and across boarder artist. His wishes came true today, and the 50 year old man shed a tear. “Superman, now listening to Mosako on RB2! Yah neh, its that emotional! VICTORY, even if its a short 30 day victory, I will take it!Temmet,” he said.
Last year around this time he was on his element yet again after the Minister of Youth and Sports, Olopeng, engaged South Africans to handle the independence celebrations. He was in the fore front of the ‘Boycott’ it awareness, that encourages Batswana to not attend the BEMF show that was billed for independence celebration. We salute your bravery Malome.
