Application for special wildlife scouts
Applications are invited from citizens of Botswana in North East District for the post of special wildlife scouts (2)

1. Requirements

.Must be a citizen of Botswana
.Must be aged between 18 and 30 years
.Must submit certified copy of omang,curriculum vitae
.Must have a minimum of Botswana General Certificate in secondary Education (BGCSE) or Cambridge Overseas School Certificate (COSC),with 28 points and at least D in any of the Basic Science and English
.Must not have any previous criminal records
.Must be of good health
.successful candidates will be based in Masunga area.

2. Duties

.To ensure the conversation of wildlife resources in line with the wildlife conservation and national parks Act of 1992 by:

1.Providing support services to Department of wildlife and national parks,
2.Receiving and attending to problem animal reports,
3.Reporting any acts suspected to contravening the wildlife conservation and national parks of 1992,
4.Participating in problem animal control and law enforcement operations,
5.Disseminating conservation information,
6.Any other duties assigned by the Department to meet the exigency of work
