Delegation Of Members Of Parliament From Mozambique Pay A Courtesy Call On Honorable Dr. Lemogang Kwape

A delegation of Members of Parliament from Mozambique, paid a Courtesy Call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Honourable Dr. Lemogang Kwape. The delegation which is headed by Honourable Cernilde Amélia Muchanga de Mendoca, is on a Benchmarking Visit to Botswana. During the meeting, the delegation indicated that through the visit, it sought to learn best practices in a number of areas, including the role of Parliament in revenue, fiscal policies and tax regimes.

The delegation also thanked Botswana for the support rendered to Mozambique in the fight against terrorism and violent extremism in Cabo Delgado, through the SADC Mission in Mozambique (SAMIM). Among others, on his part, Honourable Dr. Kwape noted with appreciation the close ties and excellent cooperation that exists between Botswana and Mozambique. The Minister wished the delegation a successful visit.
