Chris Brown Addresses Fans Struggling With Mental Health Issues
The singer shared a message with his followers encouraging everybody reading to contribute to mental health awareness by reblogging his note. The post reads: “To any suicidal followers I may have: this is a sign to not kill yourself. You are loved and the world is special because you in. Keep holding on.”
In smaller font the post continues: “Reblog this when it’s on your dash. You will save someone’s life”.
Earlier this year Chris Brown was criticised by domestic abuse charities for recent comments he made about his history of domestic violence. He has been accused of “blaming” Rihanna for his assault on her before the 2009 Grammy Awards.
Brown recently opened up about the incident in a new documentary, Chris Brown: Welcome To My Life. After his comments made headlines, two domestic abuse charities, Refuge and Women’s Aid, spoke out in criticism of Brown.
