The outspoken politician and media personality Bruce Nkgakile has had a bone to chew with opposition parties for a while, and now he has decided to air his views out. Since Facebook is the convinient and fast medium to use, he took it to his account to set the record straight when it comes to him and politics. Bruce who holds the founder of BDP as his mentor, wrote a long heartfelt message to his followers putting it clear that he is BDP not by a membership card but by conviction.
On his message he argues that the Umbrella For Democratic Change is fraud. “It is a fraud because opposition parties have demonstrated their hunger for power by merging and acting as if they are 1 to the electorate while in actual effect they aren’t but just coming together so that they can pull together their numbers to try and unseat The BDP something that will not happen even after the second coming of Jesus.” He said.
He goes on to discredit Duma Boko, who is the president of UDC by posing this question: “Have you ever wondered who is this man who keeps using Latin terms talking to electorates in rural area is?” He hit below the belt as he continued, “I still do not know. How did he become President of the UDC when Motswaledi, a product of the BDP who had experience in political leadership was alive and everyone new for a fact that he (Motswaledi) was the capable man and could even speak better English and Latin than Duma Boko (in case leadership that side is about speaking English & Latin)?
The young youth league hopeful sang poetic praise of President Ian Khama. He commended the President on many issues, among others, his stance on social ills / Alcohol Levy and salary increment. As normal with political issues, some people commend him, while others condemn him. Has he opened a can of worms? We remain to see.
