COMPLIANCE OFFICER (HEAD OFFICE) – BPS 33/2/2 Vol.1 (06)
JOB SUMMARY
To support the Risk & Compliance Manager in the execution of the compliance framework and enterprise wide risk management processes in order to minimise or prevent losses arising from incidents.
The position directly reports to the Risk & Compliance Manager.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Business Management, Accounting, Insurance or any related field
Membership of a professional body such as Certified Risk Analyst or Fraud Investigation or equivalent is required
EXPERIENCE:
A two to three (2-3) years in risk, security and compliance experience at junior managerial level
Knowledge of risk assessment and accounting system and tools is an added advantage
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Evaluate exposure and risks in business environment
Assess and manage risks at an organisational level
Develop reports and analysis to satisfy business needs
Review and ensure compliance to regulatory requirements
Perform fraud investigations in a computerised environment
Internal and External customer satisfaction
Implementation of staff training and development programme
Utilisation of information technology to optimise efficiencies
Lead change initiatives at functional and organisational level
