Botswana Youth Awards To Be Held On May 20th

The Botswana Youth Awards will this year be held May 20th 2017 at the Gaborone International Convention Centre.

The Award Ceremony targets young people (18-35 years) who have shown remarkable talent in various disciplines, and whose exceptional work has transformed their lives and that of their communities’ positively. The objective is to recognize the achievements of these young people who have worked for the welfare and development of young people.

The Award ceremony will have a total of 90 nominees and 18 categories which include: Best Youth in Innovation and Technology, Best Youth Owned Business, Best Media House Addressing Youth Issues (Print, Radio & TV), Best Youth in Community Volunteerism, Best Youth in Academic Excellence, Best Youth in Sports Achievement, Best Youth Activist in Social issues and Best Youth Tackling Global issues
