Botswana Welcomes Teams For The Under 21 Netball World Cup Qualifiers
It’s a big moment for Botswana,as the country is ushering in teams representing different countries for the Under 21 World Cup Qualifiers. The participating teams include Lesotho, Malawi, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe. The qualifiers will determine which 3 African countries will join Botswana at next year’s Under 17 Netball World Youth Cup (NWYC) that will be hosted in Gaborone.
Teams like Namibia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, and Uganda are already in the country, ready to fight for a spot in the best 3. Botswana by virtue of being the host has automatically qualified and they would use the Africa Netball qualifiers to gauge how prepared they are.
Lesotho vs Malawi is building up to be a mouth watering affairs, Venue UB Sports Dome, Time:08H00 – 09H20. The 2017 Netball World Youth Cup would be the first international Netball Federation World Competition in Africa and the first world sporting event in Botswana
