Botswana Is The First African Country To Host Mr Africa International!
On the 3rd of December 2015, Mr Africa International will converge at the prestigious Grand Palm G.I.C.C. in Gaborone Botswana. The competition, which sees at least 30 hunks from around Africa and abroad compete for the crown, will be on its fourth year after being launched for the first time in 2012.
The event created by House of Twitch will be produced by First Models Management BW (producers of Mr Ideal Botswana). CEO of First Models Management says ‘ we are grateful for the honour because Botswana would be the first country to host it in Africa, It’s going to be a big event and this is a chance to put Botswana on the map’.
In 2013, Botswana’s very own Jaydon Anderson was the fairest of them all and was crowned Mr Africa International 2013. This year the country is represented by Mr Ideal Botswana who was crowned end of October in a closely contested pageant.
The 2014 competition, held in London, went to Arnaldo Jose from Angola. The 22-year-old student and model took over the title from Anderson. He won modelling contracts from different business companies.
