A Botswana delegation is set to leave for Tashkent, Uzbekistan, to participate in the SADC Geopolitical Group and the Africa Geopolitical Group meetings. The high-level engagements will bring together regional representatives to discuss key geopolitical and economic issues affecting the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and the broader African continent.
The meetings, which will be attended by policymakers and diplomats, aim to strengthen regional cooperation, enhance Africa’s global positioning, and address pressing socio-economic and political challenges. Botswana’s delegation is expected to contribute to discussions on trade, security, and diplomatic relations within the SADC framework and the wider African geopolitical landscape.
The gatherings in Tashkent provide a platform for Botswana to reaffirm its commitment to regional integration and collaboration while engaging with international partners on strategic issues of mutual interest.
