Botswana Athletics stars shakes the world again
Botswana’s athletics team has displayed courage in the past competitions. The major recent success by the Botswana side was the Commonwealth games that were in Australia. On Saturday night Botswana’s Christine Botlogetswe did wonders on her first sub 51 appearance when she won the 400m race in Geneva,Switzerland. Botlogetswe clocked her personal best time of 50.89s.
She has been named Africa’s third fastest woman after Caster Semenya and Amantle Montsho. Botlogetswe will be joined be joined by Baboloki Thebe and Isaac Makwala at the Geneva diamond league. The duo of Makwala and Thebe are the reigning Commonwealth 4oom champion and runner’s up respectively.
