It goes without saying that drugs have found their way into Botswana, and alcohol abuse is one of the problems that continue to escalate more especially among the youth. In a bid to nip the problem in the bud, 2 influential gentleman director at Sixty3 Entertainment Bissau Gaobakwe and the Minister of Environment, Natural Resources, Conservation and Tourism Tshekedi Khama have teamed up to open Botswana’s first rehabilitation centre.
Based in Gaborone, this centre will open in June 30 this year and will be known as The Tshekedi Bissau Rehabilitation Centre. The nation will also be involved in the sense that they have to bring forth names, contacts and addresses of any drug dealers there know of with a reward of P500.00. Indeed drugs must fall, and we can only do our part by making this noble coarse a success.
“We need to save our country and our children, enough is enough. We are sick and tired of being sick and tired, “said Bissau. He further thanked Hon. Tshekedi Khama for his visionary leadership and the compassion he has for the youth of Botswana. We wish these two gentleman success in their project, and hope that drugs will be a problem not for our country to deal with.
