As shortage of accommodation for public officers in remote areas continues to be a cause for concern, His Honour the Vice President Mr Slumber Tsogwane urged Batswana to invest in real estate.

Vice President Tsogwane said this yesterday during his on-going tour of health facilities and schools in Boteti West.

No village in the region is spared by shortage of accommodation for public officers as it is with all others across the country.

The Vice President therefore called on Batswana to build houses and rent them out to public officers.

He said as much as shortage of accomodation is a challenge, it also presents an investment opportunity. He explained that if people build more houses for rent this will relieve government of the burden

and it will also help create income for individuals leading to improved livelihoods.
