Introduction
Botswana Ash (Pty) Ltd is a Soda Ash and Salt producing Company situated at Sua Pan in Botswana, approximately 180 km by tarred road northwest of Francistown. The Company employs over 500 employees of which close to 300 are unionised. Employees and their families live in Sowa Town, about 20 km from the plant site. The town boasts of recreational facilities, which include restaurant, tennis, squash, swimming and golf. There is also an excellent English medium pre-primary, primary and secondary school as well as public primary and junior secondary schools.

Specification
To supervise sectional activities to ensure accurate, timely and efficient recording of accounting information in accordance with policies, procedures, targets and work schedules. The key tasks include but not limited to;

1. Cash management
2. Accounts payables
3. Accounts receivables
4. Compliance
5. Payroll
6. Asset accounting
7. General ledger management
8. Costing

Requirements
Education: Bachelor of Accounting, Finance or AAT

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience in an accounting environment, of which at least one (1) year should have been at a supervisory position.

Pre- Appointment Training: Computer Literacy, Supervisory development, Microsoft Office Suite, Accounting packages. Progress (level 1) towards professional accounting qualification (ACCA Part qualified F1-F9 completion, CIMA part qualification must have completed managerial stage E2, F2, P2, BICA part qualification, must have completed Professional stage)
