Another Gaborone Derby On The Cards

Although both teams have not been doing well in their past matches, the Gaborone derby between Gaborone United and Township Rollers still get many people excited. There is an undeniable  rivalry between the two sides and the fans can expect these two giants to raise their game.

Township Rollers has been knocked out of the CAF Champions League in the preliminary round by CNaPS Sport of Madagascar and subsequently they have lost in the Mascom Top 8 Semi-Final to Orapa United. Gaborone United on the other hand has not registered 3 points in a long while,and there has been issues in their camp of unpaid salaries and the PRO resigning due to differences with management.

In their last encounter, Popa won the match by 2 goals to nil, as the log leaders they might still want to maintain their rich vein of impeccable form in the league. This will also be a different game for Moyagoleele, and the fact that they haven’t beaten Rollers in a while might just fire them up. The match will be played tomorrow at the National stadium at 8pm.
