A Winner Announced From The Makwala Challenge

Athletics champion Isaac Makwala has been trending for the good part of this month. The athlete made history by finishing his 200m solo heat that he finished at 20:20 seconds.

He took the race after he was barred from taking part in the competitions for allegedly having an infectious virus. The officials eventually went back on their decision and allowed Makwala to run alone to give him a chance to qualify for the semi finals.

He was supposed to finish his solo race under 20:53 seconds, he beat that and finished at 20:20 then celebrated with a few push ups. Ever since then a lot of people went on to do the push ups ‘Makwala’ style and he appreciated the gestures and announced that he will chose a winner from the challenge.

The winner gets a good bag with a picture of the star athlete and gets to meet him. He announced the winner yesterday, Monei Desmond Tsenang who did his push up on top of a car will be walking away with the prize!
