In line with her ongoing commitment to nurturing and empowering children, Kaone Boko recently extended a helping hand to Linchwe II Junior Secondary School’s Special Education Unit. This act of kindness followed the destruction of the learning equipment for visually impaired students due to the recent floods, which left them struggling to continue their education.
In response to this pressing need, Kaone Boko donated specialized learning equipment to assist the students in their learning journey. The donation included hand frames, stylus, Tractor Feed Braille papers, and Zytex papers—essential materials for visually impaired learners. This contribution is aimed at ensuring that these students are not left behind despite the hardships caused by the floods.
Furthermore, the school also received a washing machine, a refrigerator, and sanitary pads as part of the donation. These additional items are intended to enhance the students’ overall well-being and comfort, as well as support their educational needs.
Kaone Boko expressed her deep gratitude to the Open Baptist Church for partnering in this noble cause. Their collaboration underscores the power of community and the importance of showing kindness and care for the children of Botswana.
Through these efforts, Kaone Boko hopes to ensure that all children, regardless of their circumstances, have access to the necessary resources and opportunities for success, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for learning.
