Keabetswe Jenamiso’s Injury Rule Him Out Of The Current Season
Mochudi Centre Chiefs suffer major blow as their defender Keabetswe Jenamiso gets ruled for the rest of the current 2015/16 campaign to due an injury. The 31-year-old towering centre back sustained a fracture after being tackled by Maano Ditshupo during Chiefs’ 2-0 defeat to rivals Township Rollers in the Mascom Top 8 Cup semi-final second-leg clash last weekend.
Chiefs’ club administrator Zaahid Jalal confirmed the news on Tuesday as the defending league champions prepare to take on Police XI this weekend in a league clash.
“He has a fracture on his shin. He is dressed with pop. He will be out for the rest of the season,” Jalal was quoted in local media. The former ECCO City Greens defender has been Chiefs head coach Mike Sithole’s key defender making 22 league appearances for Magosi this season.
Chiefs are scheduled to host Police at the Molepolole Sports Complex on Saturday night as they continue their bid to defend the league.
