Naomi Ruele Clinches FIU Athletics Swimmer Of The Year Award!

Congratulations to our very own Naomi Ruele for winning the swimmer of the year title at FIU. Naomi became the sole owner of the meet record with her 50 freestyle performance on the 25th of February. The FIU freshman dropped an additional tenth from the morning to finish in 22.23. She lead a Panther sweep of the podium in an event in which the top four swimmers all earned a B cut.

FIU’s Ruele also went three for three on individual events this weekend, touching in 49.30 in the 100 freestyle.  This swimming sensational ,Naomi Ruele, made Batswana proud in the Individual Medley butterfly category during 2nd the African Youth Games.
