The 2016 Public Service Day Choral Music Competition Now Open

The Directorate of Public Service Management invites interested local composers to submit one choral composition which will be used for 2016 Public Service Day Choral Music competitions under the theme: Fifty Years of Service to the Nation: United and Proud, Dingwaga tse di masome a matlhano tsa go direla setshaba; Re Bopagane le go Ipelafatsa.

Conditions:

1. The composer should be guided by the Public Service Day Theme.
2. Non-original compositions will be disqualified.
3. The composition must be:
• In tonic solfa notation
• Written in Setswana/ English/ Both.
• Clearly marked and legible
• Song must be typed and also recorded on CD
• Song to be sung within 7 minutes

The winning composition will be awarded an amount of P20, 000. 00 only.

All submissions must be delivered in a sealed envelope to:
