Freelance Tutors Wanted At Elsimate Centre For Education

Zahra Thiam, 19, a senior from Senegal, tutors John Mansaray, 17, a sophomore from Sierra Leone, during the peer tutoring elective class at Manhattan International High School. It is the first year the peer tutoring program has been officially run as a class that tutors and tutees can get credits for. The teacher in charge, Lori Sandler, tries to pair up the students according to their first language or country of origin.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Applicants should have minimum teaching experience of 1 year in that particular subject. They should be familiar with the current syllabuses being used. Be well networked with schools. Being a teacher is an added advantage.
