Debswana’s Ore Processing Department Donates Books and Sports Equipment to Khwee Primary School

In a continued effort to uplift local communities, Debswana’s Orapa, Letlhakane, and Damtshaa Mines’ Ore Processing department has donated Standard Four and Seven revision books, along with sports equipment, to Khwee Primary School. The donation, valued at P70,000, was made through the company’s Employees Volunteerism Programme.

Speaking at the handover ceremony today, Senior Ore Processing Manager, Mr. Osefelepelo Mathe, emphasized that the initiative reflects Debswana’s commitment to community development. He highlighted that through voluntary efforts, employees aim to make a meaningful impact on education and youth development in the region.

The donation is expected to enhance the learning experience for students preparing for crucial examinations while also promoting physical education through improved access to sports facilities. By investing in both academics and extracurricular activities, Debswana continues to support the holistic development of young learners and contribute to the betterment of local communities.
