Love him or hate him local DJ and Former My Star talent show judge Sidney Baitsile has been a great supporter of local music. He speaks without fear about how local radio stations sideline local content and give air play to international and across boarder artists.

He is on his element yet again after the Minister of Youth and Sports, Olopeng, engaged South Africans to handle this years independence celebrations. He is in the fore front of the ‘Boycott’ it awareness, that encourages Batswana to not attend the BEMF show billed for independence celebration.The 3,5 million pula event only features 13 performers and only 3 are local, and DJs for that matter.
