BATSWANA CELEBRATE CULTURE

Many people yesterday thronged Leupane Pan, Mokoboxane to celebrate local talent and culture.

The Assistant Minister of Health Mr
Sethomo Lelatisitswe thanked all the stakeholders and the community of Boteti for their contributions towards the sucess of the event. He implored other businesses to support the initiative.

When officially opening the festival, the General Manager of Botswana Oil Limited, Onkutule Masima said the event gives the public an opportunity to witness diverse culture in Boteti.

He reiterated that Boteti communities have a rich culture that needs to be preserved, promoted and be shared within Botswana and beyond for economic benefit.

The event was held under the theme Ngwao Sesigo Sa Rona,which encourages Batswana to continually teach others their craft skills, language, song and dance
