HIS EXCELLENCY THE PRESIDENT UNDERTAKE OFFICIAL VISIT TO THE REPUBLIC OF NAMIBIA

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs wishes to inform the public that at the invitation of His Excellency Dr. Hage G. Geingob, President of the Republic of Namibia, His Excellency Dr. Mokgweetsi Eric Keabetswe Masisi, President of the Republic of Botswana, will undertake an Official Visit to Namibia on 8th January 2023.

During the Visit, the President will engage his counterpart on bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest, including exploring potential areas of enhanced cooperation between Botswana and Namibia.

His Excellency the President will be accompanied by Honourable Dr. Lemogang Kwape, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Honourable Mr. Dumezweni Mthimkhulu, Assistant Minister for State President and Senior Government Officials.

The President and his delegation will return to Gaborone on the same day.
