Big Nuz Mampintsha passes away

South Africa’s kwaito hit group Big Nuz member Mampintsha died early Saturday.

He suffered a stroke on Thursday after a performance in South Africa.

Born Mandla Maphumulo, Mampintsha of Afrotainment label owned by DJ Tira gained fame as part of the group Big Nuz alongside Mashesha who has since passed away, as well as Danger. Their hit song Umlilo released in 2009 gained popularity in Botswana, gaining the group a large following in the country.

The 40-year-old Mampintsha was married to Qhom sensation Babes Wodumo.
