The public is informed about a fire incident that occurred at the
Geneva airport yesterday. This affected the landing of all scheduled
aircrafts including the Presidential jet OK 1. However, the
Presidential aircraft was allowed to land just before the temporary
closure of the airport as a precautionary measure.
His Excellency and the entire team are safe and continuing with
the programme for the World Health Assembly.
The nation is therefore assured that the President is safe.
