Local artist William Last KRM has been nominated for the ‘Best International Act’ Award at this year’s South African Hip-Hop Awards (SAHHAs). The awards are the biggest celebration of Hip Hop on the African continent. Bofelo William Molebatsi (born 8 March 1996), also known by his stage names William Last KRMMotsetserepa and Mawilla, is a Motswana comedian, rapper and motswako artist.

After the continuous failures in his education life, he started make videos and upload them to social media. To gain attention, he used many mononyms in social network such as — “Skgakga”, “Tshasa”, “Motsetserepa”, and “Rragwe Willian”. His comedy videos went viral through the social media where he reached over a million followers on social media making him the most followed entertainer in Botswana. After his first mini skit, William started to produce a stand-up comedy show. In the meantime, he produced the fashion clothing line ‘Motsetserepa’.

As a rapper, he made the singles: Gao romanticRomantic and Pimpin Bucket. In 2020, William made the visual for his debut single Tinto collaborated with Director MO which received 1.8 million views on YouTube. In March 2020, he made the parody of Childish Gambino’s This is America aptly titled “This is Botswana” which received huge popularity on Facebook. In March 2021, he released visuals for his single dubbed “How it feels” featuring Dato Seiko and Fella, from his debut album, William. In July 2021 at the Yarona FM Music Awards (YAMAS), William received nominations in categories for Best Hip hop award, Best Social Media award, People’s Choice Artist of the Year award, Best Male Single award and Song of The Year award for his record breaking album Tinto
