PUBLIC NOTICE VALIDITY OF IDENTITY CARD (OMANG)

The Ministry of Nationality, Immigration and Gender Affairs informs the public that the service for the issuance and renewal of the National Identity Cards (Omang) is on suspension during the extreme social distancing period. Therefore, all National Identity Cards which expire during the extreme social distancing period will only be renewed when the service resumes. During extreme social distancing, expired National Identity Cards are to be used for identification. This is to enable Batswana to continue to enjoy the services offered by different service providers without hindrance.
