Mabaila Vs Nkgakile, a raging political youth war
Just yesterday, the Botswana movement for Democracy (BMD) revealed its candidates for the various constituencies that they will be contesting over in the 2019 general elections. New member in the party Bruce Nkgakile has been named a member of parliament candidate under the orange party. Nkgakile’s nomination means that he will be going head to head with another popular youngman in the area Tshephang Mabaila who is contesting under the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP).
However analysts around the country have named the contest between two young wannabe MP’s likely to field an interesting contest.Mabaila is alleged to be having a strong following in the small town especially among the elderly. Mabaila has been in the news for allegedly using his charitable foundation to get to buy people votes and he has since dismissed the news about the allegations made against him.
The young politician is also alleged to being boosted by the former president Dr Ian Khama in his quest to be the constituency MP in 2019. Meanwhile on the other Nkgakile is also on some steroids in regard to campaigning, the BMD new member was yesterday seen on social media alleging that he has had to go speak for kids that get to attend their classes in the cold and that has garnered him scores among the people in the area.
