BK Proctor Bashed For Lack Of Creativity
Social media has been roasting singer and producer turn ‘sneaker designer’ BK Proctor. Last year,the Igweji hitmaker dropped a sneaker line that came with a range of designs dubbed Collections by BK Proctor.
The first collection of the sneakers, dubbed Proctor 1 were released in December. Recently a picture started circulating on social media and it emerged that the shoe from Collections By BK Proctor is completely identical to a sneaker from the Balenciaga line. Social media has not been very kind to BK and he has been called all sorts of names and accused of being a copy cat and lacking creativity.
Balenciaga is a luxury fashion founded in Spain by Cristóbal Balenciaga, a Spanish designer. He had a reputation as a couturier of uncompromising standards and was referred to as “the master of us all” by Christian Dior.[1] His bubble skirts and odd, feminine, yet ultra-modern shapes were trademarks of the house. The House of Balenciaga is now owned by the French multinational company Kering . They design a variety of fashion items including shoes among others.
Bk Proctor has remained numb on the issue and has not responded to the accusations being thrown at.
