Kagiso Madibana Nominated For The Social Enterpreneur Of The Year At The Africa Youth Awards

Social entrepreneur and published author  Kagiso Madibana has been nominated for the social entrepreneur of the year at the Africa Youth Awards. 29 year old Madibana is a journalist, an author and the founder of Nayang Association.

She took to social media to ask her followers to help her get the award by voting for her. So let us all support our fellow country man and bring the award home.

The awards was launched in 2014 and have since honoured over 250 young people through its 2 flagship initiatives, Africa Youth Awards and 100 Most Influential Young Africans which was later introduced in 2016. Nominations received annually are reviewed by a panel of Jury made up of past winners and young achievers resident from all over the continent.

The awards have also been endorsed by very reputable statemen across Africa including the President of Rwanda Paul Kagame and have been featured on over 300 media platforms across the globe.

In 2016, the organisation launched its inaugural list of 100 Most Influential Young Africans. The list received a great recommendation from the public and paved way for more young Africans to share their success stories through the exposure of the program.

The 2017 list historically featured 45 women and 55 men from 28 countries.
