Gaona Dintwe Has Something To Say To Y’all, She Is Exhausted!

Being a celebrity has its perks but sometimes being known by everyone can get a lil bit too much and many people in the spotlight have decried invasion of their privacy. Sadly there is nothing they can do to stop people from talking about them even about things that happened ages ago.

Media personality Gaona Dintwe has had enough of people talking about her life and stuff that happened years ago adding that people should be focusing on progressive issues instead.

Here is what she had to say;

“They say silence is a virtue and I’ve lived by this, choosing to ignore the noise and to only speak about what I was comfortable with, my struggle with Endometriosis, but I am honestly exhausted! I recently came across another Facebook tabloid article that is yet again sensationalizing a divorce that happened years ago!! Bathong! Can’t we focus on more progressive things – e.g. 16 days of activism against violence on women and children? Of course I understand that people have a right to their opinions and it’s ok, such is life. But It’s been a whopping 3 years since my divorce and I have made peace with it, when I decided to go down the divorce road, I didn’t expect it would be an easy ride, I made my bed and I laid in it. I’ve put in the necessary work to heal, I went for counseling, and still go for counseling whenever I feel stuck or defeated by life, i have a great support system, Ive strengthened my spirituality and embarked on a journey to develop a personal Relationship with God. The journey continues, I believe it never ends. I’ve forgiven my self for failing and moved on and can finally say I’m in a very good place. I am in a relationship with an amazing man who has been an incredible partner ???, I am content. I am in no way at this point looking over my shoulder at my past. I appreciate the empathy from you guys with regards my struggle with endometriosis. Your support has been very heartwarming, and I know for most it comes from a place of love. But even as I embarked on my “endometriosis awareness campaign since March 2015, the last thing I was seeking was sympathy “because My ex left me coz I couldn’t give him a baby as most have concluded ?

?!!”(So inaccurate,actually the furthest thing from MY truth). I spent years feeling like a victim of endometriosis but the moment I spoke up and reached out to other women who have had similar struggles, got people aware of the condition, and touched a life or two, is the day I conquered it! So I will continue to raise awareness, I will continue to speak up and hopefully along with the plight of thousands of other Endo warriors locally and across the world a cure will be found and women who like me have been called “Barren” will become mothers. Bagaetsho ga ke itlhomogele pelo le gaele gole gonnye ka tse ke fetileng ka tsone, I have been strengthened, I am wiser. And isn’t that what life is about, overcoming, growth? My life experiences have actually helped me appreciate that everyone has a story, every single one of us, stories that need to be told, thus the “GaonaLive- ThePeopleTheStories” platform. As we know life has its seasons, there are tough dry seasons, and seasons of abundance. I am going through my season of abundance, and I thank God everyday for that, and know he will equip me and carry me through all seasons as he has proved faithful. This quote sums it up for me – “I did then what I knew how to do. Now that I know better, I do better”-Maya Angelou. A e nne modiga ditsala. Ke weditse, a kalo. Happy Friday ?” She wrote on social media.

Gaona and her ex husband Thobo Tlhasana divorced three years ago and her ex has since publicly moved on and gotten back together with the mother of his children. Gaona has not revealed her current relationship status but she has moved on and has done a lot for herself since the divorce.
